I can't think of a situation where you'll actually get to use both Reaper Batteries against the same flyer at the same time.

 

Looking at the model I doubt there's a chance to use either battery at the same target as the main avenger gun

 

What ballistic skill were you using? Those numbers look way off to me

BS4.  BS5 would only come into effect against ground targets, and this is specifically talking about anti-air choices.  You're right that I made a mistake, though.  I think I had a brain failure when adding the 2.666 hits from the first round and the 0.888 hits from the rerolls and just came up with 2.888.  Combining two numbers is not quite the same as adding them.

 

The correct numbers should be:
