Going to be sticking to anything and everything Horus Heresy, because partoftheshippartofthecrew, and 1000heathens is lethal with that hypnotoad. I intend to have this army be primarily awesome things with armor values - tanks, dreadnoughts, tanks, and tanks. I have a list of what I plan on buying for this army, and the status this far. Ferrus Manus - awaiting purchase Librarian - primed Chaplain - primed Spearhead-Centurion Cartrmen Orth - awaiting kitbashing First Captain Gabriel Santar - awaiting kitbashing Command Squad - primed Apothecary - primed Cataphractii squad - primed, 1 painted 2 Contemptor Dreadnoughts with Kheres Assault Cannons - purchased, awaiting priming 30 MkIII Marines - primed 10 Breacher Siege Marines - primed 3 Deimos Rhinos - primed 3 Sicaran Battle Tanks - purchased, awaiting priming Sicaran Venator - awaiting purchase 2 Land Raiders - awaiting purchase Spartan Assault Tank - awaiting purchase Fellblade - awaiting purchase This army is meant to be an armored spear head, with mobile tanks, flyer hunting dreadnoughts, and jamming elite infantry down your throat. I'm going to be using a more limited color palette for this army because the Iron Hands in the massacre artwork are not overly flashy, and I'm not a skilled painter - I want a tabletop quality army. I'm looking to spend more time goofing around with the building the army, the fluff, and gameplay. Here's a test marine I've painted. My brother just started the IV legion, so I need to start talking some trash. @BassWave - No kidding, man, 40k Iron Hands are tough to like. I will more than likely do a mix of Clan Avernii, Vurgaan, and the Subjugator armored battalion. Hopefully I'll have more progress this week. They're like moving cover, with guns! And they don't even explode that much Looks like a nice scheme brother, the muted colours really suit the character of the 10th - and I think the combination of Clans / Orders gives you a great option for versatility - if you're really concerned with fluff, Orders can be comprised of Companies / formations from different Clans. It has all the weapons that the other harness does, so he's WYSIWYG and beefy.
