Hey guys, some help needed here. I'm a bit rusty with 30k, having been a while side I've played and I've got a 2k tournament this weekend. Looking for some advice on my Iron Warriors and Mechanicum force. I've got the below so far, with 180 pts to spare. Options for what next are after the list...

Centurion - Master of Signals - 85 pts

Rapier Weapons Battery x2 - LDA - 110pts

20 Tactical Marines - Power Fist, Vexilla, Nuncio Vox - 275 pts

15 Breacher Marines - Power Fist, Artificer Armour, 3x Flamers - 330 pts

Sicaran Battle Tank - Lascannons - 175 pts

2x Medusas - 310 pts

Aegis Defence Line - Quad-gun - 100 pts

Magos Dominus (Warlord) - Archmagos, Machinator Array, Mechanicum Protectiva, Cyber Familiar - 150 pts

3x Castellax Battle-Automata - Flamers - 285pts

The two combined come to 1820pts so far...To add to this, I also have:

Praetor

Librarian

Forge Lord w/Conversion Beamer

2 Apthecaries

Morris contemptor with either K.AssCannons or Lascannons

10 Cataphracti Terminators with various power fists/thunder hammers/power weapons and 2x Reaper Autocannons

5 more Breachers

10 Tactical Support w/Volkite Culiverns

6 Jerbikes w/2x Multi-Meltas

2x Whirlwind Scorpius

Spartan Assault Tank

6 Thallax Cohort

I'm not sure what to add at this point or if I would be best served using a different combination. There are mainly going to be HH armies, with a few 40k armies thrown in. I guess my problem is I struggle to get the right mix of boys and toys, whilst covering the necessary anti-infantry/tank/air!

However, I'd love to try out my Castellax. Used them once before and they are absolutely brilliant

I'd most definitely include a TLLC Mortis Contemptor to give the list AA and AT boost. Then you could get rid of the Quadgun, which is censored.gif to add an Apothecary or the Aegis Line alltogether to add two Apothecaries. Adding the Spartan would be a nice way to deliver the Breachers where you want them, but I don't see how you could squeeze it in, even when removing the Rapiers and Aegis/Quadgun.

Thanks guys. Have to figure in that I know there will be a couple of guys with Horus and Fire Raptors, and Angron with Terminators in a Spartan respectively. So much to figure in, so few points! I could get rid of the Magos and just have a Forge Lord with Cortex Controller but that only saves 50 points and the Magos is quite hard (if I stumped up an extra 25 pts I could give him the Abeyant too).

I have to say, Phospex is cool, but I'd much rather have the strength 10 blast template, good for anti-infantry and anti-tank. And the probl;em with the Castellax is that they are armed with what came with the model (bolt cannon)

That's even more reasons to take the Mortis Contemptor. Drop the Aegis line, the 3 flamers and the power fist on the Tactical Sgt, add a Whirlwind Scorpius and make one of the Castellax a Paragon of Metal.
