ThatOneMarshal
Hey guys I recently bought a furioso dread. It's my first furioso so I'm figuring out what to do with it. Should I go with a furioso, librarian dread, or death company. This is my first dread so I have no idea how I should kit out. Thanks in advance Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/285785-even-in-death-i-still-serve/ Share on other sites
Morticon
BIG fan of the Furioso. Magnetise the arms (and the Magna Grapple), so you can swap out the options for a Frag Cannon + Fist or Snippy Claws!! knife&fork
It's really easy kit to magnetize, even the sarcophagi! That way you can do almost anything with if it wasn't for the fact that DC dreads should be black. Ushtarador
You don't even need to magnetize the arms, you can just stick them on :) I would paint up the one you like the most and do all four arms, that way you can always kit him out the way you want to play and claim that he's funnily painted :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/285785-even-in-death-i-still-serve/#findComment-3572843 Share on other sites

Demoulius
Furiosos are awesome! So good on you for picking one up :D For a frag cannon furiosos id advise the flamer for extra crispy xenos (or traitors), if you give him a melta you switch his load out around abit whilst the flamer adds to the frag cannon's. Somethings to look out for with Furiosos are: MC's, meltabomb armed troops, anything you cant kill in 1 or 2 turns (hordes of troops mostly) MC's while they dont got 2D6 AP anymore can still double their strength or already got a high enough strength that they mess up your day. meltabombs are pretty self explanatory, stay away from those anything you cant kill in 1 or 2 turns. People with horde armies tend to sacrifice a unit to keep the furioso away from more important things. Nothing kills off a Furioso's onslaugh like a horde of 30 gaunts that keep it in place until the end of the game... Likewise something with a far to high toughness that you cant cleave through without trouble your best off avoiding like the plague with a fury as well. Something you DEFENITLY want to avoid are 2+ armour save troops. With talons they get a 2+ save and if you take bloodfists you dont get rerolls or extra attacks after kills. Hammernators are the worst in this example as they can both kill you with their attacks and no matter what load out youve got they got very good saves keeping them standing. Anything else a Furioso can pretty much chew up :) enjoy! Imperialis_Dominatus
Did somebody say they might make a Death Company Dreadnought? Check this thread out!
