SvenONE
Tournaments I can understand that, but in a friendly 40k game, placing terrain's just as important! marvmoogy
I'm thinking as much as what would look good in a full battle company just as much as what is a good choice for battles. I'll have enough minis to field pretty much any combination (and a very understanding regular opponent where we both allow proxies) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/285878-devastator-wargear/page/2/#findComment-3576774 Share on other sites
Master Avoghai
In my area , you are not allowed to place terrain yourself at tournies. You'll also raise few eyebrows if you place terrain in your deployment on purpose. We also have a third party set up the terrain and roll to pick sides after it has been placed. All of that makes devastators let's say ,less then popular. And nobody tries the set up terrain method described in the rulebook? (Each player place eq buildings one after the other) This is as balanced since each player is free to set up terrain the same way. Moreover it allows not to be bothered when it comes to play a fortification like a bunker or a fortress of redemption.
