Theme Songs for the legions!

Recommended Posts

I could imagine Fulgrim having autotune coming from his helmets vox emitters! I don't mean so much Rhianna's singing as they lyrics believe me I would much perfer the song were it covered by Muse or someone. Thats why I posted the lyric video not the origional if you really pay attention to the words it's about someone falling into madness and not really being able to understand or stop it.

@ scion of ferrus I read the lyrics to machine men. It definitely fits our legion the best.

I love Skyfall by Adele because its about the Legio Titanicus (and its a great song). Seriously, read the lyrics, every line fits this idea.

We could of course compare to current military songs which vary from The Massed Band & Pipes (particularly thrilling playing Flower of Scotland where the pipes come in especially well) right across to those simply listened to by squaddies on tour (my brother's lot it was mostly 5FDP and Metallica/Megadeth, although one fella loves West-Country Folk) - If I was to jump anything for a Legion, it would Classical for our politico brothers with Guilleman, whereas I'd go for Meshuggah, Dying Fetus or Amon Amarth for Mortarion and his boys...

Thumbs up for the Clash! Though I can't think of any lyrics Joe wrote that would match the setting. Been wracking my brain.

I humbly suggest Wall of Shame by Screaming Blue Messiahs for Sons of Horus.

The lyrics are a little hard to find online, so here they are.

Wall Of Shame

A wise man said it's strange but true
Every little thing that you do
Will forever remain with you
But I don't have to worry any more

I used to be the wind in the holocaust
Blowing through the dust of the souls that were lost
The betrayer of all trust
The holder of a fatal charm

I don't want my name on the wall of shame
On the wall of shame
I don't want my name on the wall of shame

I used to be the killer on the lost highway
I used to be the darkness before the day
But I'd sooner have a hole in my head
Than to be what I want to be

CHORUS
