Journeyman
If anyone has a copy laying around, can they confirm if the 'Knights of Dorn' really are mentioned in "How To Paint Space Marines (2004), "Knights of Dorn Space Marines," pg. 96? I am liking the colour scheme and some of the stuff the internet passed onto me. Warhammer wiki - http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Knights_of_Dorn I note that Caredepato has chosen a variation on the colour refer his thread: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240445-the-knights-of-dorn/ but I like the contrast to my CF & BT and it has the whole relationship between BT and a successor founding. (n.b. posted here 'cause I thought you guys would be the ones likely to have a copy of "How To Paint Space Marines (2004)". Brother Tyler
It's "canon" insofar as that is the color scheme presented in How to Paint Space Marines. It should be noted that the Chapter appears to be a DIY Chapter created by Andy Brown, but it's inclusion in an official publication renders it generally acceptable as canon. If you look at the page that you linked, the images of the painted miniatures are those that appear in the publication. Caradepato's rendition is pure DIY and might be considered an unofficial alternate to the brown/bone scheme that appeared in the book. Journeyman
Much appreciated Brother Tyler. Not having the book it was hard to confirm the accuracy of the wiki.
