Hey all..I've decided to do a thread like this to both keep track of how I'm doing painting wise and for some constructive feed back. Until I get a decent camera sadly i'll be using my cell's cam. And so without further delay...here we go.

The start of my Deathwing. The Land Raider was bought used as were 5 Terminators. 1 isn't pictured due to a friend wanting to do a special paint scheme on him. (He Power fisted a Vindicator and Razorback while also having 4 invul saves)

My Ravenwing..Missing 1 biker since I left him in my friends vehicle and the biker was kidnapped to paint. Not pictured are my Land Speeders and Jet Fighter. 1 LS and 1 Typhoon model are one their way..and I've yet to finish the Jet Fighter. >.>

My Tacticals. The Rhino was bought used(Waiting on my trip to the store to get some more Caliban green) 3 Tac squads from DV and the Combat squad from the paint set.

That's a whole lot to tackle there. :D

I recommend you strip the paint of the assault squad, looks like they have a thick coat of paint going on.

Did you paint the Librarians or were they bought as in the pic?

 

At one time I bought a lot from ebay but got so demoralised by the poor build quality and thick primer/paints that I gave up on that strategy. It ended up taking more time and expense than buying new!

The assault squad is next to go in the vat to be stripped. The librarians were painted by my buddy who got me into the hobby. I needed one for a tourney but had to work overtime leading up to the day and he had the days off and wanted to paint something non Blood Ravens.
