Galron
I have been re-reading the Sahaal book and decided to make an army list after his Command Company after reading his own description of it and how everyone feared it. Well calling it a company is a bit much due to the points cost of the units but I made the attempt. Sahaal Twin lightning claws, jump pack, melta bombs, digital lasers, iron halo, Fear trophy thing Either Primus Medicae with jump pack, power weapon and artificer armor or Moritat with jump pack, twin plasma guns, artificer armor, meltabombs. Terror Squad 10 guys all chargers, chain glaive and melta bombs on sgt Drop pod Terror Squad 5 guys, flamer, chain Glaive Drop pod Terror Squad 5 guys, flamer, chain glaive, Drop pod Assault Squad x20 sgt with twin lit claws. Two hand flamers and melta bombs on all Night Raptors x15 3 Chain glaives, two flamers(I think). Melta bombs and artificer armor on sgt. Either Sicarian- Ceramite, lascannon sponsons or Heavy Support Squad with 5 guys and Volkite Culverins How does this look at 2k? Note my group does not use flyers currently thus the lack of air and anti-air. I hate having to bring three terror squads but they don't give you a choice. If anyone has any good builds for terror squads I would be happy to hear them. Right now the two 5 mans are simply an attempt to go after enemy heavy weapons teams or act as a distraction. infyrana
Check the ruling on your Moritat for HQ choices - can't be the main HQ I believe ? Moonstalker
Check the ruling on your Moritat for HQ choices - can't be the main HQ I believe ? He has a Praetor in there, blends in with the paragraph above. I wouldn't take the Moritat, though. Without a Destroyer squad to hide in or something similar, he's easy pickings. The Primus Medicae for the Assault or Raptor squad is a much better choice. infyrana
Hah, thank ye, teach me to read harder - damn my bad posting, thank you ^^ I'd go with the Sicaran as it would make a grand centre piece, but everything that can will shoot at it when given a chance. Galron
I have the minis to do either on the Heavy support. Maybe for 2500 I will add the Destroyer squad and the Moritat. Galron
For the next block of points, how would a command squad do or should I go for a Destroyer Squad. Pointswise they are similar, except ten guys for the Destroyers and 5 fo the command squad. 2500 Add to above list. Points are not exactly even so I would simply add to Terror squads to even it out at 2500. Command Squad, jump packs, 4 twin lightning claws, one single lightning claw(standard bearer), melta bombs. or Destroyer Squad 2 missile launchers, art armor and melta bombs on sgt. (would use Moritat obviously if fielding this squad.) I think the command squad would be fairly beatstick like especially since they count as two guys each for the Night Lord trait.
