Imperial Fist color schemes

Yeah, I know, yellow. Got it.

What I am interested in finding out is whether or not other "colors" are adopted for companies. In looking at a lot of fists pics (hey, get out of the gutter), everyone starts with "a" yellow.

I do see a lot of black as the accent color. The helmet color for Sgts is red, which I like as that breaks it up a bit. All good and I can do that.

What I am curious about is whether, like in 40K, the various companies have differences because they use a different company colors, or in fact they all use black and the differences are handled via unique markings on the pauldrons or knee pads or whatever.

So any thoughts on what could be varied and still be Legion appropriate?

Thanx in advance and hopefully that isn't too confusing a request.

Cheers,

The different colour trims for different companies is something created in the codex astartes by Guilliman (blessed be his name ;) ). I would say the IF would use numerical or heraldic symbols, it fits their character better. Like Siguismund and his lot would probably bear the BT heraldry.

This is atleast how I always thought of it.

The Templars in the books are described as having one shoulder pad in white with black iconography, opposite the Legion's iconography on the other golden pad, and their black/white robes that I can never remember the names of. The rest is all Imperial Fist.

@BB: Although the first guy is very cool looking, the second guy really floats my boat, especially for members of Sigismund's company.

Thank you for sharing that.

Cheers,

You are more than welcome brother! Though I hadn't thought of that (Sigismund's company) you can expect the reinforced armor of the destroyer to don a boarding shield and fill the role of breacher squad in my force here in the near future. Given the dim and dark setting of a battle ship under assault you can bet that the same(ish) dark colors will stand!
