showatah
I decided it was high time I tried my hand at doing my own space marine chapter. Decided to call them the Knights of Enigma. They don't speak. They only use sign language. In battle they use various forms of clicking and tongue rolling to give commands. Since I don't see many bright color schemes on the table when it comes to space marines I thought I would try something very different. Need to finish him up soon to get a better idea on what the rest of them are going to look like. http--,,--//http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/Thraine01/Warhammer/Knights%20of%20Enigma/IMG_1772.jpg Work in Progress Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/286371-strating-of-my-first-diy-chapter/ Share on other sites
Athrawes
Bold choice, DIY chapters can be very challenging (but I feel it is also one of the most rewarding in terms of the hobby). I like your choice of a vibrant color, a wash of seraphim sepia could add a lovely depth to that orange, maybe a glaze? What were you planing to make the chapter badge? Maybe something with a hand to represent the sign language aspect of the chapter could be cool. Good start and i look forward to seeing you chapter develop. showatah
A bonus figure I got from a ebay listing I won. Had to break off the heavy bolter to paint him. A small edition to the new army. Not done yet was wondering if the grey chest symbol mixes well. Opinions? http--,,--//http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/Thraine01/photo-1.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/286371-strating-of-my-first-diy-chapter/#findComment-3596086 Share on other sites
