Molokai
Where can I find the stats for the storm eagles hell strike missiles? I'm looking in betrayal. Cheers Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/286513-hellstrike-missiles/ Share on other sites
Russ Brother 92
iirc they should be in the weapons appendix before the Primarchs and after the Lords of War - otherwise wherever the weapons appendix is brother :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/286513-hellstrike-missiles/#findComment-3587925 Share on other sites

Russ Brother 92
Fair enough - it simply doesn't make sense to have them using the self same rules, however and so far many of the 40k rules have been revised for the 30k setting. Moonstalker
It's not the first complete omission from one of the 30k books. For instance, the Lightning in Book Two has the Agile rule, but no where is this explained. You have to go to Imperial Armor Aeronautica for it. The Avenger in Book One has an Armoured Cockpit, but the rules for this don't appear until page 165 of Book Two. Molokai
Cheers kitwulfen. Yeah strange how they've done that. Must've slipped through the proof read. Thanks for the stats as I don't have that codex. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/286513-hellstrike-missiles/#findComment-3587981 Share on other sites

Russ Brother 92
Ahh fair enough - shame really compared to the variances in other areas that make it nice and characterful. [TA]Typher
Why would they make them ordinance? Snap shots... Bah Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/286513-hellstrike-missiles/#findComment-3588527 Share on other sites
Lord Lorne Walkier
Why would they make them ordinance? Snap shots... Bah Snap shot? Wha? They are ONE shot. The Stormeagle has 4 of them.... Russ Brother 92
He means as they're ordnance you can't snap shot them (meaning your eagle has to be in one place) which is pretty risky... No, you could snap shot them. They're not blast. But what Ordnance will do is make it so that if you fire any of them, all your other weapons fire as snap shots that turn. Excessus
Yes you can. They are not Blast or Large Blast, just Ordnance 1 as far as I can see in the BRB. You fire them at regular Bs, but you'll need to snapshot the rest of the weapons when you fire one of them though. Moonstalker
Why? Because that's what ordnance does. Page 71 BRB, tucked in the lower right corner, Vehicles & Ordnance Weapons. Yuck... well that's just more reason to take the duel Twin linked Las cannons instead. Those missiles are for the loss.
