Hyrion
A fortress is a living thing: the commander its brain, the wallsits bones, the sensors its eyes and ears, the troops its blood, theirweapons its fists. This tells us two things: If one organ fails, thewhole dies. And if the whole dies, no single organ can survive alone. So a few weeks ago I decided to build myself a IW's Army.. I thought why not HH cause i can't see myself playing Chaos, and so it started. I decided to start with my HQ or at least part of it. And when i thought about trenches whips came to my mind to encourage the penal workers while they're digging. And after a week of waiting for the parts i needed i present you my Centurion before he gets paint on him (that might take a while) he still needs a bit work like details and green stuff but none the less i would appreciate some C&C Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/286583-hh-xiii-grand-battalion-iron-warriors/ Share on other sites
Dam13n
He looks pretty cool. The only thing I might suggest is trying to get a more natural "whip" look on the weapons as they appear somewhat unnatural in their current position. More trench post than trench whip. Still, I like the character and the idea behind him as well, very grim-dark. Pyromancer
I would try to reposition them by letting them soak in hot water for about a minute, and then you should be able to bend them easily. Ch@oZ
Excited siegebreaker in the first, exhausted siegebreaker in the second. I suppose the fortress has crumbled. All that aside, I like where this is going. Maybe You could build him a Darth Vader chestpiece with switches etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/286583-hh-xiii-grand-battalion-iron-warriors/#findComment-3589789 Share on other sites
Dam13n
That's pretty much what I was thinking of, looks good. Especially with the head ever so slightly turned to one side, gives him a nice sense of menace. The free space on his chest would make for a good place for a Legion Emblem: - Either the Iron Skull of the Iron Warriors or a Cog Wheel to denote (Dark) Mechanicus ties, perhaps. Pyromancer
You could do an IV in the chest circle. Simple and easy to paint/sculpt.
