The only minor thing I can think of to say is perhaps you should paint the clasps just under his ears a metal color, so that way it doesn't look like his head is infused to the armour. Whoah now, temper, temper, the mods are all riled up recently ;-) besides, it was a bit like "the emperor's pointy sticks" in the name department, can't blame people for joining in on the joke. That being said, I would still make note of what I said before about the neck joint armour. The staff work, I would tend to align with Ch@oZ. Turquoise would look prett y solid though I suppose it would depend on what you intend for the base of the staff itself. Im glad you took my advice about the neck armour too. ;) I will say the turquoise for the staff looks great, but I think that maybe you might want to try going over it one last time with a slightly brighter highlighting. At its current state, I find it almost blending with the blue behind and around it. Maybe a whitish turquoise to just make the center or the edges pop a bit more.
