That is a great start. Mind if I ask what Chapter he's supposed to be from?

The only minor thing I can think of to say is perhaps you should paint the clasps just under his ears a metal color, so that way it doesn't look like his head is infused to the armour.

Seriously though if you aren't going to give advise like I originally asked for jog on.

Whoah now, temper, temper, the mods are all riled up recently ;-) besides, it was a bit like "the emperor's pointy sticks" in the name department, can't blame people for joining in on the joke.

And now for something constructive- yes, turquoise would be awesome, just now a very light one, I'd go with Skobeloff or Pontiac Engine "blue", only slightly darker:

Oh come now, have a sense of humor, mate.

That being said, I would still make note of what I said before about the neck joint armour. The staff work, I would tend to align with Ch@oZ. Turquoise would look prett y solid though I suppose it would depend on what you intend for the base of the staff itself. A nice solid black would look good with turquoise scrollwork, sort of like a marble effect.

Just my two cents.

A Turquise would look good ,I saw someone here do one but can't find it. The Libby looks great by the way.

This is what i have done with mine but I'm no commission painter....Dont have those kinds of skillz

He looks great, man. The new work and highlighting looks great. Im glad you took my advice about the neck armour too. ;)

I will say the turquoise for the staff looks great, but I think that maybe you might want to try going over it one last time with a slightly brighter highlighting. At its current state, I find it almost blending with the blue behind and around it. Maybe a whitish turquoise to just make the center or the edges pop a bit more.

Just my thoughts, I'm sure your client will be very happy with it.
