Forge World Despoiler vs. Legion Assault

Hey, I was hoping you guys who are more experienced with Horus Heresy could puzzle this one out for me. I've been buying pre-Heresy kits from Forge World since before Horus Heresy was announced, but I haven't bought any legion specific kits as of yet, though I may in the future.

Recently I've been looking to collect a lot of bolt pistol holsters, ammo pouches, and grenades to bulk out the look of my marines, and I noticed that the Mk IV Despoiler kit from FW has NO EXTRA BITS WHATSOEVER. This was strange to me since you can get pretty much all the bits you want, including empty holster, dual grenades, pouches, etc on the jump pack Legion Mk IV Assault kit. Obviously FW sells a stand-alone set for holstered pistols and grenades that you can add to the Despoilers but the accessories kit costs nearly 33% of the models. And the holsters aren't empty so your Despoilers would have two pistols.

As far as I can tell, there is NO WAY to get empty bolt pistol holsters on Forge World, is this correct? And why does it cost a scant 1 pound more for a jump pack and extra bits, whereas the Despoilers have NO BITS and no jump pack but only cost 1 pound less?

Why would anyone ever buy Despoiler kits when you can just buy the superior assault squad kit and get the Heresy backpacks from eBay or from your bits box? Is this just an oversight on FW's part or is there something I'm missing that makes the Despoiler kit a good deal?

Don't knock the nice pricing on the jump packs over the footsloggers, that's one good thing in my book that I like very much !

The Destroyer models are fixed leg/torso combos with empty holsters if that's what you are after, but you would be lacking spare arms due to the rad launcher.

Some of the kits get nice extras, and some don't, yeah it's odd, not always sure why, and I'm also debating the melee squads to bulk out my tacticals with varying poses.

May I make a suggestion? Why don't you just buy the Assault kits, go on eBay, pick up some power cells (I think a few good bits sellers on there), and then in turn sell the jump packs on eBay? You get your Despoilers, you get your extra goodies, and you'll probably make your money back from buying the power cells and then some. Just an idea.
