apologist
Cor, lovely; brooding and martial. Gem effects really stand out, but aren't overpowering. The red in particular is lush and smooth – what's your recipe?
appiah4
My only secret to painting red is to use cheap craft paints. :) Basically I prime either a neutral gray or a dark semi-gloss red. I then paint several layers of FolkArt Lipstick Red (GW Blood Red eq.) I then shade with GW Ogryn Flesh Wash, followed by GW Baal Red wash. That gives me my base color. ı then highlight with FolkArt Lipstick Red (GW Blood Red eq.), FolkArt Red Light (A very reddish orange, GW Blazing Orange? eq.) and FolkArt Pure Orange (GW Fiery Orange? eq.) Disruptor_fe404
I agree, very nice red. And solid work on the lenses. I'd kinda want to see a blood drop somewhere though, just to remind me that it's a Blood Angel. Just one mind you, no need to ruin the awesome minimalism it has going!
