AtlasDM
I couldn't find anything about this with the search function so please forgive me if this has already come up. Has anyone been using 3rd party conversion weapons with the new tactical squad models? I was curious what kind of results everyone has had since the shooting arms don't have hands attached to them anymore. Are you cutting the hands off existing weapons and gluing them on your 3rd party bits or is there some other solution?I'm really interested in giving my entire Raptors army the Black Widow Silenced Carbine from Anvil Industry but I'm not looking forward to playing Dexter with all my bits. I was hoping to keep the bolters intact and maybe sell them on eBay. Any suggestions? Disruptor_fe404
Cutting the hand from a weapon is one of the easiest conversions to do neatly and cleanly. As long as you show some close-up pics of the weapons sans hands on eBay, they should still be saleable. EDIT: Although that does mean that the only people who would buy your parts would also need hands of their own... Which may very well be the problem that you're getting at. The Medieval or Vanguard (Black Ops) arms aren't really that different from standard GW Space Marine parts. I use them all the time for my Sword Bearers. The Black Widow is a very nice design btw. Always thought it would be perfect for a Raptors or Raven Guard type army.
