Best book per legion?

I love Graham McNeill, his Sigmar books alone make him one of the best writers for BL, but sometimes what happens in his books seems far fetched. Somehow the IH strike cruiser destroys Fulgrims' battleship by punching through it, even with the burst of speed from the explosion of plasma the best that it could of done was destroy both of the ships. I just assumed the Iron father had too many bionics to be affected by the weakened sound burst.

But I find many other writers to have crazy parts in their books, ADB had Agron stop a titan from squishing him and had Agron beat Russ in a fight, neither one of those would ever happen.

On a side note, I like the way the Space Wolves are portrayed in Thousand Sons and Bretrayer better than in Prospero Burns.

Definetley Angel Exterminatus for Iron Warriors.

The Garro series is an awesome collection covering some Death Guard and other traitor backgrounds and leads into a great intro for the Grey Knights founding. One of the best collections in my opinion.

A normal person can lift a car at the peak of adrenaline, why is it not feasible for a Demi god to hold up a scout titan's foot at the peak of adrenaline?

Also, Primarch. Primarchs are psykers. We know the big problem with psykers using the Nails was that their powers went out of control, usually to the point of self-combustion. my belief is that the Nails caused Angron to instinctually use biomancy to strengthen himself, allowing his body to survive the Nails as well as other things, such as a wall falling on top of him, burying himself several hundred feet underground and catching the foot of a scout Titan.

While I agree with some parts.  Especially that A Thousand Sons is the best portayal of the SWs.  However Angron beating Russ in a fight is entirely believable.  I don't care the how Betrayer shows us it happened.  Mainly because how it is setup only makes sence if Russ planned to lose.  That doesn't change that Russ losing in a straight up fight is not posibly.

Not sure if you are trying to incite a flame war...both could...nay did...happen. Its in the book.

*Waves hand mysteriously" This is not the flame you're looking for.....move along.....move along

That's a tough theory to buy considering the Angron's nails tended to be pretty anti-psyker in their effects on the World Eater's Librarians.

My problem with Angron being able to military press a warhound is that he's canonically not the strongest primarch, so when I read that section all I could think was what utterly silly things Vulkan or Zombie Ferrus would be able to pull off.  Then I read Vulkan Lives and became sad.

Specifically, losing control of their powers and shooting force lightning everywhere without being able to stop. It certainly didn't stop their powers from working.

See, thats just the fault of an inferior author. If ADB wrote everything, the setting and series would actually be cohesive...
