Unfortunately by the time I realized you couldn't actually have a Terminator Captain with Relic Blade the model was already built. Rather than change it I decided to wait for the new Codex that I knew was not that far off. Sure enough, new Codex comes and while Terminator Captains still cannot take Relic Blades they can take the burning blade, but as one problem was solved another appeared, no auxiliary grenade launchers !!! So I decided to make him a pseudo master of signals, swapped the grenade launcher barrel for lenses from another Terminator chestplate, and to add to the appearance I added an Auspex screen, antenna and dials into the interrior surface of the shield and added aerials from the Imperial Guard Cadian Vox to the back of his armor. For Culn I removed the Red Scorpions symbol on his Storm Bolter and replaced his other chapter markings with green stuff Imperial Fists icons. I removed his sword hand and replaced it with a Thunder Hammer from the new Dark Angels Deathwing box. Tyberos had Hunger and Slake removed and replaced with standard lightning claws also taken from the Dark Angels Deathwing box and an Imperial Fists icon added to his shoulder. The legs, torso and cape came from the new Deathwing box, the Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield from the Assault Terminator box, the helmet from the Grey Knights with green stuff molds from the Ultramarines Honor Guards. The hammer had it's head replaced with an eagle head from the Commander box backpack and I further added green stuff Imperial Fists icons to his shoulder and knee. I think the result is a very cool and unique commander created from a simple kit-bash for the most part with very minor conversion work. So there they are, four Terminator commanders. Thanks, it will be a while before they get some paint, I've still got to finish my Space Wolves first and before I turn to the major overhaul I have planned for my Imperial Fists I may decide to paint up my small Dark Vengeance Dark Angels and Chaos forces just to get those out of the way finally.
