Vile Siren
Simple question can you repose FW minis with hot or boiling water and is so how pliable do the minis become after sitting in said boiling water? Any info would be a help. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/287253-reposing-fw-minis/ Share on other sites
Gunny333
Would not recommend boiling water. After submersion for any period of time that leaves them malleable they stay weakened in the point of whatever pivotal movement is used. Best thing to do is to just cut and reglue. Grotsmasha
I second cutting, pining and reglueing. I recommend a Hobby Saw rather than a knife as you'll get a cleaner, even cut. Hot water is fine for straightening bent pieces though. Kaedes Nex
Depends on the model. Tartaros are probably thick enough that you can just use the boiling water method. Even boiling water takes a good while for them to soften up enough to bend and are probably thick enough that the integrity issue isn't a problem. Vile Siren
Well it would be the Fulgrim mini from forgeworld and I am sure it may seem stupid to want to repose the mini but I just want to make it a better pose because I am not to found of the dancing dodge he has going on. I understand it works when he is with Ferrus. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/287253-reposing-fw-minis/#findComment-3603689 Share on other sites
