Dark Mechanicus color?

Is there an appropriate color scheme for the Dark Mechanicus and do they still use red?

 

 

The wiki, lexi and other illustrations are not very consistent in specifying or portraying.

Nope. Dark Mechanicus is a lot more individual, so there is no unified colour scheme like there is for the AdMech.

 

Gives you a lot of freedom. Personally, I use dark red robes over blue-grey armour.

Traditionally, AdMech are quite a bright red. That said, I dual purpose my Magos as a Magos Reductor in HH games and as a Warpsmith in 40k games, so... heh.

Another distinguishing mark is the accent color, as the Imperial mechanicus tends to use white as a Accent color, while the Dark Mechanicus uses black.
