GrunTeufel
Looks great! How did you do the hood? Sanguinary guard kit is quite versatile isn't it. You can create some majestic looking characters without much effort. Xenith
Or you can make a Psychic hood from a shoulderpad, appropriately cut. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/287428-alternative-librarian-models-updated/#findComment-3607134 Share on other sites
SnorriSnorrison
Looks great! How did you do the hood? Thanks! Generally, the Grey Knight kit is amazing to build witches, there's five torsos with a psychic hood in it. For this model, I cut up to and glued them back together to lengthen the hood, I found it more suitable for a character. Stonedog
Well, after some digging and kit bashing I came up with a Librarian that I cannot help but to be proud of building! The back packs are magnetized to allow for either option..... When I took the pic I did see a mold line I missed on the sword arm right above the wrist that I will get before painting and the Bolter barrel as well! Chaplain Admetus
Admetus approves! (mostly because that's disconcertingly similar to my self-representing Reclusiarch!) Nice job! If you're happy with him and he's easily identifiable as a librarian, that's all that matters, and he looks good. Memento Of Prospero
Good work. Painting him in the official blue of the librarius will make him unmistakable librarian too! Chaplain Admetus
You'd be surprised... the number of times I've been asked "which one's your librarian?" when I have a solitary blue model in a sea of red and black is stupefying... Stonedog
I added all of the "books" so it would (hopefully) scream, "Hey I am a Librarian!!!"..... He's gonna be blue with red shoulder pads....one shoulder pad is from the Sanguinary Guard box and the other from the command box. The blank shoulder pad will have the blood drop and maybe one of the knees..... Also I am going to paint the back pack and jump pack red.....keeping with the idea he is a BLOOD ANGELS Librarian!
