Vengeful Spirit

That's why some books end up as Twilight, and other books end up as A Game of Thrones.

Would that reason be "Some writers are capable of telling a story that resonates with a wide audience and wrapping it up in three or four novels, and some writers just vomit words onto paper for a thousand pages and send it to the publisher in spite of the fact that they completely lost the plot two one thousand page novels ago." ?

The only one that took anything to the face in Little Horus was when Aximand had his face cut off, quite literally.

Betrayer is when Lorgar does his plasma dusco ball act and Vengeful Spirit is Mortarion mimicking Lorgar pulling a plane out of the sky.

So let me get this straight.

Legion: "That is all you get."

Vengeful Spirit: "One shot is all you get."

Betrayer: Primarch pulls plane out of the sky.

Vengeful Spirit: Primarch pulls plane out of the sky.

Is it just me or does something with the book see a pattern emerging?

In fairness, "all you get" is a fairly standard, easy line in any event. It's easily applicable, and the most natural phrasing if, indeed, it is all they get. No sense wasting time trying to come up with an "original" phrasing of the same thought just to be different for difference's sake.
