Fortis
Hello everyone! I have read in numerous places about "Blastmaster squads", wherein numerous noise marines are tooled up with BMs. However, reading the CSM codex, it is clearly written that where a unit numbers 10 or more NMs, one may take a BM. And yet, i have seen references to 5 man squads with a BM, multiple BMs, all out BMs!!! Where does the truth lie?
Kilofix
See the GW FAQ that updates 6th Edition: http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m3180050a_Chaos_Space_Marines_v1.2_APRIL13.pdf It says one model can always take a BM. 10+ models can take a second BM. Forté
The usual is 5 noise marines with one Blastmaster. I prefer 6 marines for fluff.
Fortis
See the GW FAQ that updates 6th Edition: http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m3180050a_Chaos_Space_Marines_v1.2_APRIL13.pdf It says one model can always take a BM. 10+ models can take a second BM. Cheers K. Ill prep a couple more in that case! Expect WIP pics in the near future... Edit - Does this also mean I can rock 3 BMs in a squad of 15 NMs? (incl. champion). Or alternatively, 3 squads of 5 with one BM per unit?
RolandTHTG
It's 1 per 5 models, but max of 2 in the squad. so 3 squads of 5 work, but a squad of 15 only gets 2. Let's see those pics!
