Schertenleib
Sorry for posting this, but I couldn't find my answer using the search function. The Quad gun on the aegis line has Skyfire and Interceptor. So am I correct in figuring that any shot fired at a unit that is NOT a flyer and NOT arriving from reserve by deepstrike or other means would be a Snapshot? I would need a 6 to hit that Rhino bearing down on my line or that unit of Devastators firing at me. Dam13n
If a weapon or model has the Skyfire rule on its own then it uses full BS against flyers but snap-shoots against ground targets. If a weapon or model has both Interceptor and Skyfire then it uses it's full BS against all targets. Both Grounded and Flying. - See page 42 of the BRB for the Skyfire special rule. Interceptor also has additional effects of it's own. A Quadgun has both Interceptor and Skyfire - See page 114 of the BRB for the Quad-gun rules. Laterz, D. DarkGuard
As the quad gun has both Interceptor and Skyfire it will not suffer any penalties when trying to his non-flyer targets. So your "normal" targets like that Rhino will be hit at normal BS. Top right of page 42 under Skyfire. EDIT: ninja'd by Dam13n. But figured as I'd already typed this all out I'd post it anyway. :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/287733-quad-gun-question/#findComment-3613610 Share on other sites
