Fytharin
So today a new Games Workshop store opened in my home town, had never been to one before so I decided to go and ended up buying the Wolf Hunt audio drama. I really enjoyed it and as much as I would like to go and buy all of the Space Wolf lore out there, there is quite a bit of it...I was wondering if anyone had any favorite audio dramas pertaining to Fenryka and I also wanted to know if the Prospero Burns unabridged audio book was worth the $40 price tag as well. Thank you for the feedback. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/287810-tales-from-the-fang/ Share on other sites
Triton74
Prospero Burns audio book is well worth the purchase, I got it after reading the paperback, listened to it several times in the car, makes the miles fly by :) You'll love it Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/287810-tales-from-the-fang/#findComment-3615386 Share on other sites
Bulweih
Hyá Sister, Wolf Hunt isn't even lore of the rout, as you surely noticed. Like the brother before me, I can only recommend Prospero Burns as an audio book, it's the one I like most. Thunder from Fenris is ok, to me the author didn't portrait the wolves all too good, but the general opinions are rather good. Apart from that, I suggest to listen to an excerpt where possible, because the voice of the reader is a maker or braker, as is the stories content. Examples: A Thousand Sons I'd love to own, but the voice-actors voice is unbearable to me, so that's a no go sadly. Vulkan Lives is read by someone whose voice doesn't bother me, but I ultimately found the story wanting, it was the first and last unabriged audio book I bought proir to reading the paperback. Here's some Audiobooks I like a lot: -HH:Butcher's Nails -HH:Censure -HH:The Unremembered Empire -Heart of Rage -HH:Garro Series -HH: Raven's Flight Also, around here amazon sells the CD's with a lower price tag, no clue if it's the same overseas. MaveriK
audiobooks you say? There are plenty about the Wolves, some others from HH feature them in the background but add more into the once mighty legion. The ones I have and have heard so far are...- Prospero Burns (HH)- A Thousand Sons (HH)- Deathwolf- Thunder From Fenris- Unremembered Empire (HH, Watch Pack is featured in story)- Scars (HH shows a little glimpse of the wolves post Prospero) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/287810-tales-from-the-fang/#findComment-3615515 Share on other sites
Fytharin
Thanks for the feedback. A buddy of mine stepped forward and is going to let me borrow his collection of dramas so you guys may not see me for a few days as I bury myself in our glorious history.
