Ultramarine vet
So if a vehicle suffers an immobilized result and loses a hull point, and It Will Not Die is successful, is it no longer immobilized as well as regaining the hull point? Azash
Still immobilized but it gets its hull point back. The rule only mentions the hull point being regained. It makes no mention of the effect being reversed. Grey Mage
No, it simply doesnt have that particular HP damage. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/287844-it-will-not-die-special-rule/#findComment-3616201 Share on other sites
Dam13n
Yep, It will not die on vehicles is effectively hull point regeneration, that's all. Damage results other than a lost hull point are unaffected. It's still pretty handy to have though. netminder69
But if it also has Power of the Machine Spirit (I think that's the right one) you can not shoot and make a separate roll to end the immobilized. I think you must have the name wrong. PotMS has no effect on HP recovery. Dam13n
I think you (netminder) mean the Repair special rule that Rhino transports have. They get to sacrifice their shooting phase to make a repair roll (that suceeds on a 6) to remove an immobilised result. JamesI
It would be great if It will not die could cure Immobilized or weapon destroyed. But just HP regen is pretty good too Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/287844-it-will-not-die-special-rule/#findComment-3616601 Share on other sites

Lord Tarkin
I think its stupid though. Its dumb that you can become a perfectly healthy vehicle...but still retain damage. Its ridiculous. alex567
I dont think its reference to a perfectly healthy vehicle, more so to sustaining damage then as in the case of a forgefiend for instance renitting the holes where the damage has taken place, yet still having the main component damaged. For a rhino repair roll the reverse is true, a chunk is blown out of the tank, but the crew manage to get it going again, the hole is still there the tracks just work around it as all. alex567
All us ultramarine look the same. Imperial STC's at their finest. We took a leaf from the alpha legion from that one.
