teblin
Hey guys. I've got some problems with a number of my larger models. I'm incredibly indecisive when it comes to painting, and some of my models have multiple coats of different colours, and they're looking rough and, in some places, downright horrible. Is there a way to fix this? I've been punished for my indecisiveness and perhaps this is what I deserve, but I'd hate to leave these models in his state if there's a way of fixing them. Any advice ludo be greatly appreciated. Thanks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/287903-stripping-paint/ Share on other sites
Retributis
I used Dettol to great success on some of my Dark Vengeance plastics - Left them for a few days then scrubbed them with an old toothbrush, just make sure you have some gloves to hand (arf) and the area is well ventilated as the smell tends to hang around! Guest
I use Brake Fluid for metal its great, I have used it for Plastic too but I would advise not to keep it in there too long (An hour is usually enough) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/287903-stripping-paint/#findComment-3617622 Share on other sites
Demus Ragnok
I use Simple Green. Not sure if its available everywhere. I've left plastic to soak for up to a week with no ill effects.
