The ******** of the Badab war. Whether they are trying to take on three chapters at once, fire Bombing Agri-worlds, or just being general dicks, The Hawks know how to party. I've been fascinated with the doomed Hawks for a while, and really wanted to do up a force of them pre-LotD. I've got about 2000 pts now of them, and so begins the massive paint and conversion plog!! First is the image below i sketched up. paz Posted March 11, 2014 Author Share Posted March 11, 2014 Thanks brothers! Paladin- quite a hassle, but worth it I think! The missiles are the bottom haft of grey knight staves (only correctly sized missile-like things I could find...) The contrails are done using wire, and bush flock. Once you spray it, it actually gets quite hard, easy to dry brush. The hard part was cutting off the back off the launcher and flipping up the exhaust vents. But Lazaerek? Emperor's undies, he's insane! His face, he must have looked at Chaplain Cassius and thought "sweet scars bro, but it's not quite as nightmarish as an Astartes should be. Lemme show you how it's done." And that paint job, sweet terra, how many souls have you sacrificed to the Ruinous Four to be able to paint orange of all colours so dang well?! EDIT: Ooh!
