Horus mini

About Alpharius and Omegon, I remember reading something about their Minis showing them in "ceremonial" armour - the one they used when they absolutely had to be recognizable as Primarchs (or rather, a single Primarch, but one can have multiple armours).

Can't remember where or when, though, so it might not have come from any credible rumour-monger, much less an official source. Still sure I've read it, though =p

I don't think there's any doubt that's the most likely treatment for one, if not both of them. It just wouldn't be right to model them doing something they would do only in the deployment phase or the like; we have tau stealth suit models, not just fancy bases for them, just like a callidus is shown in her default skinsuit, and not as a bodyguard grunt.

Ya know what...

I think I want to make a 1st company SoH force with Kalus Ekkadon as a moritat and Falkus "Widowmaker" Kibre as a Termie Praetor. That would be sweet and I haven't heard of anyone else doing it soooooo yeah.

Dibs.

Abaddon is overrated, time for Kibre to shine! By the way...what was his gear? I can't remember if it was a pair of lightning claws or not.

I'd like to see him painted in marble and gold, perhaps leading at the forefront with Sejanus at his side. Before he was the Warmaster. Before his Legion took his name. When the glories of the Great Crusade showed no sign of the horrors to come.

Horus is almost perfectly proportionate - the head may be a little big. Much glorious...

I especially like that FW has started nailing the legs' girth on their Marines as well as the Primarchs - look at Khârn.

And I'm not one for scenery much, but Horus' base is just incredible. Go FW.

Edit: Those grey Imperial Fists are interesting...Such a radical change, it doesn't seem to be the usual corrosion from chemical weapons.

I just watched the video with Simon Eagan, and he sais near the end that the experience of sculpting horus legplates, and all its embossed details eill help him alot on the project he is working on atm, as it has alot of embossed plates.

Wonder what he is sculpting...

Terminator armour most likely, which would point to Mortarion, no? A fainter possibility would be him referring to scales detail from the form of the overlapping armour, thus A&O.

Or, you know, we could for once remember about 'him', that poor unsung bastard.

Perturabo.

Me too. I'm thinking Dorn...or it just occurred to me, does anyone see any similarities in Horus armor to something the Russ might wear? Not the arms, but possibly the legs and torso?

It's definitely fun speculatin'.
