NiteOwl
Looks like Iron Hands Fanatic was right. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/New_Stuff/MECHANICUM_MYRMIDON_SECUTORS.html Sad thing they have the same bodies as the destructors. Emperors Teeth
So they do. Awww. Shame, as 6 unique bodies would have been amazing.Regardless though... I want 3 with 6x Graviton guns! Haywire spam! Cactus
I love those very much! Exactly what I imagine a tech-priest would look like on the battlefield. They come with all three weapon options for each model too, so lots of spare guns for conversions. TDF
That's not the case, I don't think. This complete resin set contains three Mechanicum Myrmidon Secutor models with two phased plasma fusils, two maxim bolters and two graviton guns respectively and all carry power axes. Barabbas Sogalon
Not bad, might get some of those when I start a Mechanicum force. Anyone else think that maxim bolters is a reference to the maxim machine gun? Kais Klip
The maxim bolter holds so much 1915 for me, the Tauros incident is quickly forgotten. Keep on tugging FW, my loyal steed. The priests are a bit too steampunky for me, I'd rather they have a mix of exoteric tech held back by outdated but sacred components, but that is just criticism of a cake I've ordered seconds of. I'd also rather they take it easy on the cog motifs on mechanicum and IH blades. Daddywarcrimes
Buy 9 and build 3 squads of 3 with matching weapons. BAM! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288069-myrmidon-secutors/#findComment-3621396 Share on other sites
Phoros
Bah. I wanted three Volkites and three Rad-weapons... and I get none of either of those. I hope they do a weapons pack. DuskRaider
It is kind of a bummer that they recycled the bodies, but they look great anyhow. I'm a big fan of Mark Bedford's work, this is no exception. It's becoming harder and harder to resist stating an AdMech Force... Cactus
Buy 9 and build 3 squads of 3 with matching weapons. BAM! Don't tempt me! I get my bonus paid at the end of this month and I've already earmarked some of it for Forge World. I'll need to check the Adeptus Mechanicus army list again tonight and see what load-out(s) I want. Telhdrat
I don't mind that they have the same bodies as destructors since the different limbs make them look varied enough for me, and they both look great anyway. I'm a bit disappointed that they haven't give us all the weapon options for either unit, especially since both lack one of the weapons I wanted to have, neither of which is easily available elsewhere (photon thrusters and irad cleansers). Still, I will certainly be getting a few of both types. Honda
Very nice and it wouldn't surprise me if they do come out with a weapons package or something that they could add to a 3 x 3 bundle. Seems like every time we've needed an option they eventually produce it. Kais Klip
The MkIV combat blades with bolt pistols are close enough for gladii, same length at least. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288069-myrmidon-secutors/#findComment-3621882 Share on other sites

Phoros
I can't really see them doing gladii, since they've already got serviceable combat blades and there's no major demand for them. I'm pretty sure that there are third party companies that make suitably gladius-like Space Marine weapons, though. Kais Klip
They will definetly throw in some gladii with an Ultramarine assault squad, but as a whole separate weapon pack, I doubt it. Unless the Ultramarines also have their own bolter mark. Týr
Some weeks ago I wrote them on facebook; "Hi. Will Forge World at some point make plain gladius swords for marines to represent combat blades that are described in your HH books? (Plain as in legion neutral and no hand already holding the hilt)." This was their reply: " Hi, I'll certainly pass you message on. You are not the first person to ask for them so you never know." I allow myself to have some hope that we will see some cool combat blades. Until then I found a guy who makes som sweet Gladius swords that work very well. On Topic: Those Myrmidons are pretty awesome. At some point I think I will be getting them. TheForgottenAngel
Well there is that option to add, you know, combat blades/chainswords to tactical squads ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288069-myrmidon-secutors/#findComment-3622658 Share on other sites
