AfroCampbell
Pandorax recounts the tale of Epimetheus and the other first recruits for the Grey Knights actually being on Terra BEFORE the Horus Heresy was over. Do you think we may see these recruits/ Knights Errant used for the epic fight under the palace before being whisked off to Titan by Malcador? Perrin
Don't think so. Titan was sent into the warp before Horus arrived in system iirc, otherwise his fleet would have found it. I don't remember seeing anything like that in Pandorax, but maybe it meant before the traitors arrived? EDIT: Sorry, totally misread your post It's possible! I still can't remember that coming up in Pandorax, what page was it? It depends on what happens with that fight when it's fully explored. Considering the wards were breached around the same time as Davin/Isstvaan, that's 7 years of daemons pouring through the breach. What we don't know is how long it was until the Emperor closed the gates. They could have been fighting for days, weeks, months, years, who knows! There's also a lot of things up-in-the-air with the Grey Knights founders. The most common theory used to be that Garro and his KE were the GK founders, but recent HH novels have revealed that there were a lot more KE than previously thought, definitely more than 8. Also it's implied that Garro isn't the only person Malcador had out on a recruitment drive. Having them fight daemons in the palace dungeons alongside the Emperor would be a great way for them to gain some daemon-fighting experience in preparation for training the new Grey Knights, but it's also a big risk for VIPs like them.
