Bly
Hey guys, I'm considering putting in a returned Deathwatch Marine into one of the Terminator squads in my Crimson Fists army. Just wondering, would the Deathwatch shoulder pad replace the Crux, or is the Crux more important? Or should it replace the Chapter insignia on the right hand side? Toomanyprojects
As far as I now, the crux is the more important of the symbols. It marks a marine out as a member of the super elite warriors, I'm not sure that they would allow any outside influence (even the inquisition) to supplant it Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288156-returned-deathwatch-terminator/#findComment-3623264 Share on other sites
AtlasDM
The silver Deathwatch shoulder pad and the Crux Terminatus get combined so you could model yours the same way. Here's a picture of the cover of one of the Deathwatch RPG books showing a Deathwatch Chaplain in terminator armor. The crux is incorporated on the left shoulder as usual and the chapter markings remain on the right shoulder. marvmoogy
I'd go with the above. Although Crimson Fists won't be the best bet for this given the fluff....it would be cool to see a returning terminator still in deathwatch black. Dark Angels could make this work or one of their successors with all the TDA suits knocking around....... hmmmm you have given me an idea!
