I got a chance to look through your photo gallery.  I am really amazed at your greenstuff skills.  Something I admit I am not good with.  Seeing how you made the robes look like they are flowing.  I can't see GW saying they dont like the plastic robes.  They should maybe hire you to sculpt a new line of plastic.

Wow Sume, thank you although I feel you might be giving my greenstuff skills substantially more credit that they're worth :p I'm certainly no sculptor, but through practice and help from a couple of very good modeling blogs, I am getting better :)

There's no reason why GW couldnt make plastics with robes. In fact many current model lines have some nice plastic robes already. The DE warriors spring to mind but also the space marine sternguard too

I agree.  There was a thing while back that the guy working on sister plastic sculpts was not happy with the robes.  Seeing your green stuff work, and the newer plastic.  I think they are just waiting to sell all the metal stock first.

Well that is right.  Practice does make perfect.

Keep it up.  Like to see more as you get them done.

Got to admit, I'm liking what I see here, especially that Repressor! I've been using them since FW intro'd them in 3rd Ed., and they have done everything I want them to.

Just on a fluff basis though, I always figured that the heavy flamethrower was standard on Arbitrator Repressors, not water cannon. After all, if you really want a crowd to disperse, setting them on fire is a good way to get them to leave.devil.gif

A question that occurred to me when reading the background of your Order; after they've converted someone and saved their soul for the Emperor, what do they do with them then? For the ordinary heretics and mutants, having them serve the Order for the rest of their lives while constantly mortifying themselves for their heresy would work. (As an aside, way back in 1st Ed. when the Imperial Guard could have Beastman units, there was a sidebar about how the Beastmen were sorry that they were mutants and had failed the Emperor and lost his light, so they were going to show their sorrow by killing as many of the Emperor's enemies as possible to earn his forgiveness. That might work out if you want to use lots of Penitent Engines. After all, that would be a good way to kill the enemies of the Emperor and earn his mercy.) But what about an arch heretic, maybe the leader of the cult? I imagine that after saving his soul, the Sisters would give him a merciful bolt round to the back of the head, followed by a decent cremation. That way, they save him from ever having to go through the horror of backsliding into heresy.;)

Willy Pete, I'm so sorry for neglecting to answer your questions! I hope you can find the same sort of forgiveness for my heresy that my own Order would bestow :)

For the mutants and psykers, they are trained and tolerated as equals within the order. They aren't let back out into society for that would be too dangerous bother for them and for society. Instead they are given roles within the Order, which is seen as an honour by these previous lost souls.

The arch heretic is a complex and diverse creature. If they can be saved through medication and prayer then they will be granted the same privilege to serve within the Order. If the case is too sever, such as possession, then there maybe little choice but to execute the individual out of compassion. Suffice to say, the Order will do everything within its power to rehabilitate heretics, mutants and psykers but this is often not possible with the serious cases. The sad truth is, the compassionate war against corruption is a doomed one.
