How to represent Kalus Ekaddon and his squad?

Hello all

 

 

I was just brainstorming an idea for a second army after my HH Dark Angel force and was thinking of the Sons of Horus especially with how nice Horus came out to be.

 

 

I would like my force to represent the first company led by Kalus Ekaddon (captain of the Catalun reavers) and Falkus "Widowmaker" Kibre (captain of the Justariaen terminators) backed up by some large tactical squads and some Sicarans.

 

 

However, I don't know how to represent either of these guys on the table top. I want my Justariaen to deep strike into the thick of things, but the only way to get that is if I take Abaddon or do a praetor with orbital drop rites, but I don't want to lose my big tactical squads and tanks, not to mention that I don't like drop pods.

 

 

Abaddon is good, but he is point heavy and I'd rather have the army focused on the other two captains.

 

 

Plus, how can I represent Ekaddon and his Catalan reavers? Are they slightly different the the reavers in the Massacre book?

 

At first I was thinking about using a moritat, but then he needed a destroyer squad, and while really awesome, I don't feel that they represent the reavers.

 

 

 

Ekaddon uses two pistols and a jump pack and Kibre has Justariean armor and two lightning claws if iirc.

 

 

 

Can you guys help me figure out how to represent them?

There is actually little to no information on Ekaddon. As far as I know, all we've ever seen of him is when Loken saw him at the beginning of Horus Rising. Other than that, there is nothing. So, I'd say "personal preference".

I could see Ekaddon with a power axe. He seemed like the brutal type.
