Vash113
Just got today's Black Library newsletter and it showed off this: http://www.blacklibrary.com/horus-heresy/echoes-of-ruin.html Several short stories including at least one featuring Space Wolves given the cover art and the title "Wolf's Claw." Fytharin
I've always loved the lore about Bjorn being woken up simply to convey legions and epics from the past to the next generation, would definitely be eager to get my paws on this if what they're saying on that forum is true. MaveriK
I had a chance to listen to this today. It's about 09:16 long. The story takes place during Scars or just after the wolves disappear from the story. The Rout are still fighting the Alpha Legion in this audiobook. It's a cool listen, more of a filler than anything. I just wish it was longer. You get a better view of things which helps compliment the story within the events concerning the Vlka Fenryka from Scars. Lord Ragnarok
Agreed on what Mav said. Wish it were longer with more Bjorn face stomping, but still a good listen. Fytharin
How was the rest of the CD? Was it worth the buy? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288435-echoes-of-ruin-audiobook-announced/#findComment-3637087 Share on other sites
Lord Ragnarok
I have all the other stories...some I can't remember. I did like warmaster. It is short, but good. Not what you would expect in terms of Horus's thoughts. Oh! forgot. Eightfold path is good. I must say I liked that better than wolf claw if you take the Fenrisian out of me for objectivity. The roaring. (shudders). Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288435-echoes-of-ruin-audiobook-announced/#findComment-3637111 Share on other sites

Not what you would expect in terms of Horus's thoughts. Oh! forgot. Eightfold path is good. I must say I liked that better than wolf claw if you take the Fenrisian out of me for objectivity. The roaring. (shudders). Are you refering to the part towards the end when Khârn realises they have abondoned the crimson path for the 8-fold path? Because I remember a lot of shouting there! Also if you like Khârn in this, then you might also like 'Chosen of Khorne', It flips between the 1st and 3rd person. In the 1st person, the story is from the perspection of Khârn as a berserker - really cool! As for Wolf's Claw, I completely agree with the above - I just wish it was longer.
