Quixus
As we all know the left shoulder pad of the Mk VI armor is studded, the right shoulder pad is where the company insignia is supposed to go, and the squad markings go n the right knee. So where do you put the chapter symbol? Is there anything official on that? Blindhamster
chapter symbol is instead on the right side for MkVI I believe - certainly was when that style was originally made, and it's how I've done it. I kept my company marking on the pad as well though, but only because I have variations to keep the models looking unique (the guy with mk6 has a white blood drop on the right side of the pad (facing forward) and the chapter symbol in a central position, I also have a mk7 that has a chapter symbol with white blood drop as the right pad has a grail motif, and another mk7 with a skull that has a white blood drop in the 'third eye' position) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288545-blood-angels-insignia-on-mk-vi-armor/#findComment-3631751 Share on other sites
Torva Minoris
The way I've always seen it is that the chapter insignia moves to the right shoulder pad when the left one is studded and for the most part the company insignia disappears (and might be inferred from the models hanging around him), or at least this is what I have seen a lot of models do, I don't know if there is anything official.
