Vile Siren
So just a quick question what is the most effective unit and transport for Fulgrim? I don't have an army list yet but I am aiming for 2500- 3000 point army with at least 10 phoenix guard, 10 kakaphoni and 5 palatine blades besides that I am down for anything in the list. I am thinking some tactical marines surrounding Fulgrim in a sicaran battle tank but if there is anything better any input would help. Thank you Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288672-fulgrim-body-guard/ Share on other sites
Molokai
The sicaran isn't a transport bud. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288672-fulgrim-body-guard/#findComment-3634610 Share on other sites
Grotsmasha
The Stormbird, http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/172700-pre-heresy-stormbird-troop-transport/?p=2066769 , In all seriousness now, a Spartan maybe? Vile Siren
My bad I just mixed up the Spartan with the sicaran, god I feel dumb, anyways so a Spartan sounds right. Now I just wonder how many tactical marines I should have to accompany him. Thanks for the reply guys :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288672-fulgrim-body-guard/#findComment-3634649 Share on other sites
Enigami
Any reason why you are choosing TAC marines to accompany him? I would personally recommend some Phoenix terminators or regular close combat kitted out termies. Vile Siren
No reason, your right phoenix guard would be good. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288672-fulgrim-body-guard/#findComment-3635753 Share on other sites
Rider-75
Or to quote another primarch: "Do I look like I need a bodyguard?" :P Though I can see why you might use tac marines as a cheap(er) source of ablative wounds, I think the Phoenix Guard would be more effective given that Fulgrim is genrally going to end up in combat. Vile Siren
True I could go with no bodyguard I just want a good unit to take up wounds for Fulgrim.
