incinerator950 Posted March 27, 2014 Share Posted March 27, 2014 Most cases you'll have a Biker Lord with a PF and LC. From what I gathered, you're better off with Typhus if you want a Termi Lord. Is it so you don't strike last in challenges and against things that might hurt you, but get the PF's strength against weak mooks? In this case you don't take a shooting weapon at all since I don't think you can use it if you have a PF and a Claw? Also is a bike really that good? I'm debating a Nurgle force myself and not sure what to do for my commander since I'll need a Lord (I really like the DP model though but need a Lord anyways) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can then choose the most appropriate weapon to lead with given the circumstances/situation. Bikes are great - manoeuvrability and the toughness boon? Ultraboy Posted April 3, 2014 Share Posted April 3, 2014 A lord with MoN, Black Mace, Sigil, Blight Grenades, bike and VOTLW escorted by Nurgle Spawn has worked very well for me. They serve as a counter attack force for my backfield. The lord is a tough bastard to take on in CC. Bikers are good for accepting challenges, but don't take as many wound as Spawn. That's not to say they can't be totally bad arse but i find their use is more in their utility than their killing power. Daemon Princes and Greater Daemons are my killers of choice.
