Bike Army?

Are lists made up of a lot of bikes viable in 30k?

With Extermination so close and Raven Guard goodies in sight I was thinking of making a force based on the Hawks (think it was the Hawks?) from Deliverance Lost, which are the bike/land speeder force of the Raven Guard during the Heresy.

I'll get a rough army list done up in a couple of minutes to represent the idea a bit better.

Also, at £45 a pop for 3 bikes, and no Heresy-era attack bike on the horizon, I was thinking about using regular marine bikes, and then just slapping MK IV chests and heads on them. Would you think this would be an acceptable alternative? 

I think I'd save the Outrider bikes to represent squad leaders/characters, just to differentiate them a bit more.

Theres currently no way to take bikes as troops so youd need to include some infantry, no reason you couldnt use the modern bikes though, In fact ive got 2 whole squads made with modern bits and the Red scorpion mk4s ;)

It's pretty rough and will need quite a bit of tweaking, but it's the basis of the army!

And my plan was to use the Red Scorpion stuff too haha!
