GhostMalone
The heresy is perfect because it melds & combines all facets of humanity and our history/mythology and creates a true work of literary genius Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288874-what-influences-the-blood-angels/page/2/#findComment-3648159 Share on other sites

Plague Angel
I don't really see either Carthage or Phoenicia, but I'm intrigued. Can you guys point to anything specific? Lord Commander Scrymgeour
Phoenicia is most obviously an influence in the name of the home world. they weren't really a distinct culture TBH and the name is just something the greeks gave to the region, they were hugely influential in terms of spreading a non-biblical semitic culture - so the names etc. are certainly present. In terms of how they look, I'd still say pre raph paintings Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288874-what-influences-the-blood-angels/page/2/#findComment-3657738 Share on other sites
