Molokai
I want to Buy a couple of medusas for my death guard. I dislike the legion medusa, but love the Armageddon pattern. Would the Armageddon pattern have existed in 30k? I have no idea when the Armageddon war was or if it's even related to this tank. Thoughts? Haranin
If you like it go for it! with STC designs, just because one design is associatated with a certain world in 40k doesn't mean it wasn't more common or produced in other locations in 30k Think on plasma weapons, in 40k harshly limited production. Most forgeworlds can't produce them. In 30k they are mass producing them everywhere. Molokai
Thanks Haranin. Yeah I figured it wouldn't matter anyway. Rule of cool. I'll definitely be getting a couple then. Reyner
Only thing you will miss when not getting the Legion Medusa is the marine crewmen but you can convert some up :) I was looking at getting a couple for my Iron Warriors or Imperial Fists... Molokai
The Armageddon medusa is fully enclosed. You can model the back door down, but I'm just gonna glue it shut, so it won't matter about crew. But you are right :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288912-medusa-patterns/#findComment-3639832 Share on other sites
Reyner
Nice - didn't know about the back being fully enclosed. Might get that one over the Legion one (bit cheaper ) edit: aww only 3 quid cheaper. Was the regular Medusa I was looking at, nearly £20 cheaper! Molokai
Yeah, there's a huge jump in price hey. I saw the cheaper one converted up in death guard livery, complete with a driver and loader in mkiii plate. Looked good. I still prefer the enclosed version though. The legion ones got those poxy side exhausts and the armoured loading area looks too top heavy IMO.
