Well here is my first entry:

A quick Warpsmith carrying the Eye of Night for my Khornate Black Legion army.

He was made over the last two days after i managed to get some left over Necron and Dark Eldar bits from mates.

Not the best but i'm happy enough with him.

I think he won't qualify for the prize either as his torso and arms all come from the one model (the DV dark dangles captain) but as it was only a two piece model it seemed more hassle to remove than to accept!

Heres My Warpsmith, with just stardard codex entry weapons, nothing special as I couldn't decide what if any changes I should make to armament. Oh and backpack is magnetized so might be off kilter in a couple pictures.

And my second entry, this one has been a labour of love for a while.

Ever since reading about the mysterious Grey Ogryns mentioned in the 6th BRB i wanted to make an Ogryn in Power Armour.

Finally cam across the rules for Vaylund Cal from the Badab War and his stats seemed to fit. Half his Servo harness is from Servo Arms the rest scratch built, lots of GS was used in the production...

So here is the scratch built Ogryn Master of the Forge to ally with my Grot Guard.

Hi guys. My first time entering a Grotsmasha challenge and I think I've broken the rules; legs. torso and arms are all from one model (sorry!). I just really wanted to use this guy as a techmarine for my heresy era world eaters - his armour looks old and tough, and I always thought a hammer was more of a techmarine weapon than an axe... how mechanics do you know that use an axe?! Anyway, here he is. The back pack is magnetised so I can run him as a sergeant if needs be, altho the RHS pad I thought I could paint in mechanicus black & white...

Tommy I don't know if you've ever had a 30t excavator break down in the middle of the Australian outback but I can confirm using an axe when you've lost your hammer is a possibility :P

@jaspcat - I still think a double handed hammer beats axe for 'fixing' things ;)

 

@shottyscotty - backpack is dead easy; cut the vents off a 40k backpack ( I used central vent & scull one for a mechanicus feel) & then stick on the mech arms from kromlech (look up their eBay site - they're ork bits really). I cut the blade off & added a bolter with sickle mag replaced with drum. Stick a scope on the top & voilà!

@ Strike Captain L: I've always wondered why GW never had a TDA Techie, and have thought about doing it myself a couple of times, but always got stuck on the Servo-arm. Yours is a nice solution :tu:

Unfortunately this will be all i'll get time to do as my brothers on his way down so seeing him takes president :) I don't think this legal as both arms are from the same model and I'm unsure if I like the hood but anyway some great submissions already.
