Adepts of Mars Challenge Summary

The final week comes with 3 new Adepts of Mars and a Librarian, bringing the total number of completed models to 26 out of 30 a total of participants, an excellent result by anyone's standards

Apologies Jono for not getting time to post my completed model in time.  RL and mainly work got in the way - but eventually I did get all the bits needed and its built.  I'll take some pics this eve and get them uploaded this evening - better late than never though hey!?

Relics of War

...and BCK has the right of it (mostly ), this Challenge is all about Walkers, the following are viable entries;

• Sentinals => into DIY "Special" Sentinal varient
• Dreadnoughts => into a Venerable Dreadnought
• Contemptors => into Relic or Chapter Specific Contemptor
• Helbrute/Defiler/Soul Grinder/Mauler Fiend => into Khorne/Nurgle/Slaanesh/Tzeench alligned models
• Imperial Knights => into a Warlord or Chaos-Alligned model

If I've forgotten any walkers let me know and I'll be sure to include them in the Sign-Up thread.

I'm well prepared for the next challenge, ive got 3 unpainted dread kitbashes from years ago ive been meaning to re do now I'm better at conversations. I think you should add in iron clads to the above, ive seen some great IC conversions around.

Grotsmasha, in regards to the walker conversion challenge- will there be different model make up % rules than in previous challenges? I don't think people are going to want to hack up dreadnoughts, especially something like a forgeworld contemptor.  When should we expect the start up thread?

It'll start August 1st and the idea is to take a base model and add to it to bring it up to the Venerable/Relic, there'll be no % limitation on the starting model.

After Relics of War in August, we'll have a Tank Challenge starting Nov 1st. But the real fun one, will be in April, I'm really looking forward to it.

Tanks you say? I'm in on that - being a bit of a tread-head... As for walkers. Might have some bits somewhere, or may have to break some models (ahem, I mean re-acquire some pieces) because my warpsmith needs a pet hellbrute... Hmmm... Thinking now...
