Forgefather Vulkan
Hi guys, I am starting a thread here documenting my process on my Sons of Horus army (using C:SM), which I am creating for a competitive army list. It will be mostly forgeworld mini's/parts and I am very excited as it is my first FW project so I hope you all enjoy, I have done a test green on one of my bikers! (Still waiting for the forgeworld bits in the post!) http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/h326/mattwerty17/photo.jpg C&C welcome! SteelPaladin
Very nice start. The battle damage looks really well done. Recipe for the green? It looks similar to mine, but a little brighter. Forgefather Vulkan
Very nice start. The battle damage looks really well done. Recipe for the green? It looks similar to mine, but a little brighter. Thanks, I was a bit daunted by the green but it is good fun. I start with a base of GW's Kabalite Green, then a layer of Sybrite Green, highlight Hellion Green, glaze Coelia Greenshade and finally another Hellion Green highlight. Far easier than any of my other armies, I don't have to mix paint as much anymore! Stay tuned for more! The_Chaplain
Oh very cool! I cannot wait to see what that skull helmet (2 heads over from the wip one) looks like fully painted! Forgefather Vulkan
http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/h326/mattwerty17/photo2.jpg So here is my first marine, I am liking the Terror squad heads even though they aren't specifically 'fluffy'. This guy is one of my sternguard and I am happy with him! Armond
Very cool, looks good! But no son in Midnight Clad would allow that helmet/head to remain attached to that neck!
