ImpiousSmart
The general concensus is that 30K gets most fun at 2000+ - more accurately at 2500-3000pts. But what about the other end of the scale? How high do people go? I've written lists at 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000 points (for funsies), but having never played apocalypse I basically just double my allowance on the FoC and pretend apocalypse doesn't exist. At what point do you "go apocalypse"? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289113-upper-end-of-the-points-section/ Share on other sites
KBA
5000 makes for a pretty small apoc game by my estimation. Go humongous or go home! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289113-upper-end-of-the-points-section/#findComment-3644216 Share on other sites
Moonstalker
I don't like doing more than 3k per side on a 6ft x 4ft board. It gets way too crowded after that. So 3k is where I start looking at apoc, or at least larger tables. marshal seanisi
The good thing about 30K is that you can have larger 5k-6k point per side games without going Apoc! Follow the rules for Lords of War allocation and it makes for a fun game Large game that still requires some tatical thought. Apoc usually requires a massive blast template every turn that wipes the board clean lol...
