Alternative Legion of the Damned.

As an alternative to the Legion of the Damned models, I am finding Forgeworld´s Night Lord helmets and torsos intresting.

Though I am not sure how to paint them. One way that seems quite common with "ethereal minis", is to prime them white, and then add eg. water-downed Waywatcher green glaze or a green wash.

But, since space marines are a bit "heavy metal", do you think that there is a way to make a similar effect, but more like "fire elemental"?

Aye, nice find Grot.  Though I just wanna get some blue airbrushing highlights into the middle and have some blue plasma coming out from all that yellow - for no reason that to remove all that bright yellow from centre mass lol.

 

Yeah, I'm thinking those models / upgrade parts would work for specific LotD models.
