Iron Hands/Mechanicum

Hi,

In the Iron Hands Rite of War, it says the Iron Hands may purchase Battle Automata from the Mechanicum. Does this apply to the Urosax in Extermination/the Vorax in Extermination?

Does it say Battle-Automata, or Castellax Battle-Automata? If the former, I'd say it's likely to apply to any Mechanicum units with "battle-automata" in the name.

It says that  'Legion Cybernetica Battle-automata Maniples may be included as elite choices within the army.'

 

I haven't see anything from Extermination yet so I can't quite say.

Exterminaton adds the Vorax and the Thanatar Battle Automata to the Legio Cybenetica list (see page 202), as well as including them in the Taghmata Omnissiah list. So yes, you could take Vorax.

 

You could not take Ursarax, because they are not Battle Automata. They are also not available to the Legio Cybernetica, only to the Taghmata Omnissiah.
