Codex: Inquisition FAQ?

i know the current version only allows crusaders and assasins to use power swords, others tell me the original states power weapons ( you could have an axe and a sword) but currently they're both power swords. Also standard non names inquisitors can also only use power and force swords (with the exception of the malleus who also gets access to a daemon hammer.)

If they don't know it's been updated point them in the direction of the black library page, it has a link to download the up to date version of the ebook (the version i hear people quote the most when it's outdated, ipad is pretty good on auto updates.) Update also cleared up psybolt ammo (giving it to assault cannons and heavy bolters and clarified chair inquisitor getting to use his bombardment every turn. Thats it as far as i know.

Ok, good to know. I knew that a few changes had been made and that BL digital only products don't do official FAQs, just updates. I think a guy is going to take Karamahchair so it is good to know he can fire every turn. Also makes me glad I modeled my Death Cult Assassins with two swords, or sword and dagger.

Is there even a need for an FAQ? They can just update the file as needed.

Updating the file only fixes the "errata" portion (i.e. the changes to content).  The purpose of the FAQ portion is to explain, so it addresses things that don't need to be changed, necessarily, but still might not be clear.  FAQs, therefor, will still be valuable until such point as these things get written so well that nothing is left that can be confusing or misinterpreted.

Cronhour has hit it straight on the head. With a printed rulebook, there is no opportunity to use outdated rules (intentionally or not). Those of us who didn't buy our own copy of the eBooks have no wy of knowing if what we're being shown is current or not. And Emperor forbid, if someone has an *ahem* Less then legitmate *ahem* copy. They would never get an update, and always be playing with an out of date file. As their opponent, I need the FAQ and Errata to keep them straight.
