Moonstalker
So, in the middle of this image we can see that they've put out a Predator Annihilator. We've always heard that they were a post-Heresy development, but does anyone know if that has been retconned/if FW has decided to include them? Anyone with the books know if they're included in Extermination or in the omnibus Crusade Army List? Sevatar
They are not in Extermination, sadly. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/289420-predator-annihilator/#findComment-3650313 Share on other sites
Moonstalker
They are not in Extermination, sadly. More sad news, I was just poking around Warseer and someone said Master of Signal is getting a 10 point price increase. Sadface. Sevatar
To be fair he was far too good for his cost. Jetbikes got a boost too, a 2+ save, Palatine Blades can go up to 10, EC get +1 I in challenges, and WE get +1 WS in challenges. Moonstalker
To be fair he was far too God for his cost. Herbicides got a boost too, a 2+ save, Palatine Blades can go up to 10, EC get +1 I in challenges, and WE get +1 WS in challenges. Yes, yes he was too God for his cost. And it will be much easier to kill Tyranids with boosted Herbicides. I'm assuming you're just posting from a phone that thinks 'jetbikes' are 'herbicides.' Sevatar
Haha yes, thanks. Jetbikes are indeed improved. Shame Assault squads were not. I think they should be 175 base, then 10 points per squad member. Moonstalker
I mostly mind the cost increase on the Master of Signal because I liked how I'd outfitted mine (even if his wargear was largely pointless, it was just cool). Now I'll need to drop the Refractor Field or something to keep him in my list without changing anything - otherwise I agree that he needed to go up in cost for being so awesome. 175 and 10 per additional would be way too cheap for Assault Marines. C:SM Assault Marines pay 3 points per jump pack. The price you're suggesting would have Legion Assault Marines paying 1.25 points per jet pack in a 20 man squad. They need to be cheaper but... not that cheap. If anything, their jump packs should be more expensive than the ones C:SM gets because Legion AM are scoring and that kind of built-in movement for a large squad is very valuable in 30k. 180 base and 15 per additional would be totally fair, IMO. I think that works out to like 4 points per jump pack when you take a 20 man squad.
